BUILT BY THE SPRINGS,
FOR THE SPRINGS.
This market didn't start with us. It started with three Colorado Springs vendors who were tired of packing up in October while their customers kept asking, "Where can I find you in January?" They galvanized other vendors who felt the same.
They wanted a winter market here at home. They also wanted a partner who'd already figured out the unglamorous parts: insurance, permits, payment processing, a website, and what to do when it snows on a Saturday. So they called us.
Wildcraft has run a winter market in Fort Collins for 20 years. We know the back office. They know the Springs. So here's the deal:
-
Local vendors run the market. The three founding vendors lead it on the ground, week to week.
-
Wildcraft handles the infrastructure. Insurance, systems, marketing, and the paperwork nobody brags about.
-
The vendors are from here. 75% of the vendors are based in the Colorado Springs area..
Same faces you buy from in summer. Same neighbors. Just a warmer room.
LOCAL DOESN'T HYBERNATE
Here's the thing about winter: the hens keep laying, the bakers keep baking, and Colorado Springs keeps wanting to eat local. The only thing that used to stop was the market.
A longer season means more local food on your table in February. It means more months of income for the small farms and food businesses down the street.
And it means more of your grocery money stays right here in the Springs, instead of riding a truck out of state.
One more market doesn't split the local pie. It makes the season longer, so there's more pie. (Ask the bakers. They'll confirm.)

WHAT'S INSIDE (AND OUTSIDE).
-
Local growers, ranchers, and makers. Winter greens, eggs, meat, bread, honey, coffee, and whatever your favorite vendor talked you into last week.
-
Food trucks outside. Lunch is handled.
-
Free parking. Right there. No circling.
-
Indoors and warm. Snow, wind, rain, or a surprise 70° January, we'll be inside.
-
SNAP/EBT coming soon. We're finishing authorization for this location and will announce it here.
-
While we wait, show your EBT card and receive $10 in Food Access Bucks thanks to Wildcraft Community Fund.

FAQ'S
Who runs this Market?
Local vendors do. Three Colorado Springs vendors started it and lead it on the ground. Wildcraft Farmers Market, the team behind Fort Collins' 20 year old winter market, handles the back office so they can focus on the fun stuff!
A Market in a middle school?
Yea, we said middle school. No hall pass required. No pop quiz either.
The Market is located in the Mountain Ridge Middle School cafeteria. Note that the YMCA is also set up on Saturdays in the Gym.
9150 Lexington Drive
Colorado Springs, CO 80920
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs, but school rules mean no pets inside. Service animals are always welcome.
And speaking of school rules, there are no weapons, tobacco or illegal drugs allowed on campus.
Do you take SNAP/EBT?
We are in the final stages of authorization with the USDA. Until we are official, Wildcraft Community Fund, our 501c3 nonprofit is providing $10 in Food Access Bucks when you show your EBT card at the Info Booth.
