Wildcraft Community Fund is the nonprofit heart behind Wildcraft Farmers Market — funding SNAP matching, Senior Bucks, and family programming so a Saturday morning at the market is open to everyone, no matter the budget.
OUR MISSION
Rooted in reciprocity.
Farmers markets have always been more than a place to buy food. They are where communities gather, neighbors reconnect, kids discover where carrots come from, and musicians fill the air with something worth staying for. Wildcraft Community Fund exists to make sure everyone has a seat at that table.
Named for the ancient practice of harvesting from the natural world with intention and reciprocity, we work to expand access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at Wildcraft Farmers Market for low-income individuals, children, and seniors in the communities we serve. We fund our own SNAP matching program to increase shoppers' buying power, Senior Bucks and dedicated senior shopping hours, and family and children's programming.
Because a community gathering place only works when the whole community can gather.
THE NUMBERS
Our impact, season by season
Every SNAP and Double Up dollar went directly back into the hands of neighbors shopping the market — stretching grocery budgets further at the farmers, ranchers, and makers tables that need it most.
2025-26 SEASON
Over $20,000 in SNAP and Double Up Bucks distributed over 22 markets (government shutdown affected two markets)
415 Individuals and Families Supported
2024-25 SEASON
Over $17,000 in SNAP and Double Up Bucks was distributed over 24 markets to
