Gathering Local: The Story of Wildcraft Markets
Welcome to Wildcraft Markets: where local culture, community, and craft come together in every season.
For two decades, our market space has grown alongside the vibrant community we serve. What began as our beloved "Winter Market" early days has evolved into Wildcraft Markets, a year round destination dedicated to celebrating Northern Colorado's farmers, growers, makers, artists, and neighbors.
As our community’s needs have grown, so have we. By transitioning into a seamless year round model, utilizing the climate controlled indoor space at Foothills Mall, cozy during the cooler months and comfortable within the warmer times of the Colorado year. We ensure that fresh local flavors, handmade goods, and meaningful connections remain accessible no matter the forecast.
At its heart, Wildcraft Markets is more than a shopping trip; it is a gathering place. Whether you are stocking your kitchen with seasonal harvests, discovering custom creations, or supporting the next generation of creators at our Kids Market, you are part of a two decade tradition of keeping local vitality thriving across every season, month, and year.
Come gather with us, discover what’s in season, and be a part of our story.
Beginning November 7th, join us weekly for our Winter Markets from 10-2pm inside Foothills Mall, 215 E. Foothills Parkway, Fort Collins, CO.

Double Up Food Bucks at our Market
We’re proud to accept SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) at our two Farmers Markets, making your dollars go even further with the Double Up Food Bucks program.
Here’s how it works:
-
Use your SNAP card at the Market Info Booth to purchase Market tokens. These tokens act like cash with any vendor who sells SNAP-eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, bread, meat, dairy, and more).
-
For every $1 you spend with SNAP, you’ll receive a $1 match in Double Up Food Bucks, up to $20 per market day.
-
Double Up Food Bucks can be spent exclusively on fresh Colorado-grown fruits and vegetables—helping you bring home more healthy, local food for your family.
This program not only stretches your food budget but also supports local farmers and producers right here in Northern Colorado.

Our Farmers Markets are more than a place to shop, they are a place for families to connect, explore, and play. Each season, we partner with local family-focused businesses, schools, and community organizations to host hands-on activities and creative kid tables that make every visit a little more magical.
Whether it’s crafting, learning, or simply enjoying the energy of the Market together, we’re proud to offer a welcoming space where kids can engage with their community and discover the joy of supporting local.
Want to get involved? We invite local businesses, schools, and nonprofits to host a kid activity table free of charge. We provide the space and the promotion, you bring the fun! It’s a great way to connect with families and share your mission or passion with the community.

Giving back to our schools
We are thrilled to support the next generation of our community through our annual partnership with the Poudre School District Foundation.
On this special day, we will donate 5% of our total sales to the Poudre School District Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing vital support to PSD students and faculty. Your purchases will help equip students with the tools they need to thrive, ensuring a brighter future for our community.
We invite you to come and fill your bags with local goodies, it's a great way to support our vendors, nourish your family, and give back to our local schools, all at the same time!

2024-5 Market Reports
Each season, we strive to make the Market a place that operates in a way that reflects both vendor and customer sentiments. The main tool we utilize to do so are surveys administered at the end of each season.
See the reports below which paint a picture of customer and vendor demographics, preferences, and feedback from the '24/'25 season.
